Riza Cuartero was born and raised in the busy streets of Metro Manila, along with her six siblings where they lived a carefree adolescent life provided for by their parents. Growing up, she learned best from her mom who was driven with motivation to give them a life she never had as a child. Riza admittedly stepped out of her safe bubble a little later in life at 24 years old, but doing so with the utmost defiance to the life she was given. Experiencing her own mistakes and failures, made her realize how to value her family while living an independent life as an expatriate in Myanmar.
She had ventured to the city of Yangon where she unexpectedly started a family of her own, dealing with the rumbles of a pandemic and a coup while anticipating the birth of her first child.
